Cricket Store Rides

There is now a new starting point for the cricket store rides, Tanner Williams Community Park. The park is a great place to start a ride. There is a nice parking area with restrooms and water. There is also a splash pad to cool down after those hot summer rides.

Cricket Store rides are great for beginners with hardly any traffic, stop signs, or red lights. Everyone is very friendly and cautious of the riders. Not to mention the beautiful scenery along the way.

The Cricket Store, which is now closed, got its name from the large outside cricket pens that were used as bait for fishing in Big Creek Lake. You could hear the crickets singing as you got close to the store.
