For over four decades Giant has been devoted to bicycles and cycling. At Giant, the two-wheeler is more than just a machine; it's changing the world, and a way to extend the boundaries of your world, too. Giant combines their passion with industry-leading materials, manufacturing and design, resulting in some of the world's finest bicycles.
For example, the carbon in their world-championship bicycles is painstakingly woven in Giant’s own composite factory. The frame is then meticulously crafted using filament winding and a co-molding process that renders impressive lightness, exceptional power transfer and a dreamy ride quality.
Giant's ALUXX aluminum frames, formed from raw materials in Giant’s own forging facility, are renowned the world over, too. These alloy tubesets are refined through an advanced process including extrusion, butting, and shape forming. Because of these in-house manufacturing capabilities, Giant's engineers can develop materials and processes that ultimately create industry-leading bikes.
Giant pairs its superb materials and craftsmanship with cutting-edge designs. For example, the Compact Road Design in their road frames features a downward-sloping top tube for smaller front and rear triangles on the frame. Because the triangles are smaller, less material is necessary. And less material equals less weight. Giant compact frames are also stiffer, more comfortable and easier to dial in a perfect fit.
Meanwhile, Giant’s proprietary suspension design, Maestro, is absolutely brilliant. Found throughout their entire dual-suspension line of mountain bikes, it utilizes four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages that all work to create a single floating pivot point.
Maestro’s linear spring curve makes the rear suspension incredibly sensitive to small bump forces. And the floating pivot point lets the suspension remain completely active while braking, which keeps the rear tire in contact with the ground. From high-frequency trail vibrations to heavy-hitting compressions, Giant's Maestro suspension soaks up the full spectrum of trail impacts.
And Giant hasn’t forgotten about women. Known as Liv/giant, their women's bicycles have their simple guiding principle of 3F: fit, form and function. From pro-level road or mountain bicycles to stylish city bikes, the 3F label is a promise that every Liv/giant bike has been designed for female riders. Specifically these bikes have a comfortable ergonomic fit, a dashing aesthetic appeal and serve the unique needs of women riders with a custom-tuned ride.
So no matter what type of bike you're looking for, Giant is sure to make one just right for you. Swing by our store and we'll walk you through all the great features of Giant's amazing bicycles!
